Beautiful park. Follow the main path and GET THERE EARLY! The park closes well before dark (in the summer) and can also close due to weather hazards. Monitor their website. Its a great resource!

Nice trails, great for hiking, the biggest complaint I heard from people is that the "recommend water shoes for getting down to the falls, truth is if you want to get to the falls and pooling areas that you can see from the overlook, it is NECESSARY to cross the river!!!! We watched people thigh deep in water trying to cross over to be able to get to falls.... We didn't make it down there as we were in jeans and boots.... go prepared for it, they do not adequately prepare you for this in the parking lot in any way.... We were very disappointed at that. Otherwise a very nice walk

Had a great day with the family here. We took our 11, 9, and 2 yr old. I will say that we will not take our 2 yr old again but he did make the hike and he did walk 90 percent. There's life jackets a park ranger and it was beautiful. If you do not normally hike this is a little tough. To experienced hikers it is easy. Would def go again .

Pulling into the park I didn't think the drive out out here out here was worth it, but after walking the trail to he outlook it definitely was. Plan to go back for the other trail soon. Didn't see either mill so that will be a further expedition. Did find quite a few fossils along the shore. The bottom of the falls looks like a great place to swim. And surprisingly for it being winter the water wasn't too cold. It ranks the eighth largest fall by volume and flows well in the winter considering other falls are drizzling or not even flowing this time of year.

Love Hiking, love walking... right place... it took 30 mts from the car to the actual falls... make sure you pack your water shoe, extra dress... you won't be disappointed..... There is no right walking path to the falls... but still people are going there walking on the hard rocks... Love this falls!!!
